Maximilian Mayer
The German tenor Maximilian Mayer completed his studies at the MDW Vienna in 2016. In April 2023, he made his Wagner debut as Froh at the Staatstheater Kassel. Further engagements have taken him to the Semperoper Dresden, Theater Kiel, Theater Heidelberg, the Lehár Festival in Bad Ischl, Oper Klosterneuburg, and the Seefestspiele Mörbisch. From 2016 to 2023, he performed at the Gärtnerplatztheater, singing roles such as Candide, Eisenstein, Ferrando, Don Ottavio, and Tamino. Mayer has also portrayed Tamino at Oper Leipzig, Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Theater Dortmund, and Staatstheater Kassel. Recent highlights include performances as Camille de Rosillon in
The Merry Widow at the NCPA in Beijing and Oper Köln. In 2025, he will make his French debut as Tamino at the Opéra de Rennes and Angers-Nantes Opéra.
